How do I know if my child is growing at a normal rate? Most parents have concerns about their child being overweight or under height, but this should not be too much of a concern during the early years of development. The tables above identify recommended guidelines for both boys and girls. Notice that each chart has a line between two other lines. This line is the median value. The lines above and below it represent the range by which the actual value could vary and still be called within normal limits. SickKid.Net is committed to assisting you with a variety of health information for your children. We provide relevant health topics in a variety of other areas with respect to child care.
Were you unable to find a specific topic? Please drop us a line, we appreciate any feedback to improve our site. |
